Photo display of trans and non-binary youth ‘Nous en image’ in Paris starting this Saturday

Trans Youth Trajectories is pleased to invite you to the opening of the ‘Nous en Image’ photo display, which will take place this Saturday, March 28, 2026, on the ground floor of the LGBTI+ center ‘La Bulle’ (wheelchair accessible), located at 27 rue Mahler, 75004 Paris, starting at 6 pm (until 8 pm).

This presentation features the photographic work of trans and non-binary teenagers who participated in a year-long workshop within the Trans Youth Trajectories platform, supported by photographers Thalie A and Nicolas M.

In a context marked by the proliferation of images and narratives about trans youth, this project offers an essential shift: here, young people are not the subjects of an external gaze, but the authors of their own images. Through learning photography, they explore framing, what is visible and what lies outside the frame, and create a space for expression and reclaiming their own image.

The photographs on display were created and selected by the participants themselves. Together, they form a singular, intimate and plural gallery that offers a glimpse into their perspectives.

Alongside the project, a behind-the-scenes film by director Ilana accompanies the display. It documents the workshops and highlights the creative processes, the exchanges, and the collective dimension of the project.

This project is intended for anyone interested in issues related to health, support, representation and the lived experiences of trans and non-binary youth: healthcare professionals, affected individuals, families and allies.

Photography and video recording, as well as the distribution of the photographs, are strictly prohibited.
