What is Trans Youth Trajectories
Trans Youth Trajectories (Trajectoires Jeunes Trans in French) is a platform that aims to bring together the different healthcare actors involved in the transition pathways of young trans people or young people exploring their gender in the Parisian region (Île-de-France). It is supported by the Regional Health Agency of Île-de-France.

Objectives
The Trans Youth Trajectories platform aims to improve access to healthcare and the quality of care for children, adolescents, and young adults who are trans and/or gender-exploring.
This involves facilitating coordinated care by ensuring that trained and networked healthcare professionals are available throughout Île-de-France. The goal is that the only available care options are no longer, as is often still the case today, limited to hospital child psychiatry services – especially considering that trans identities are neither a mental illness nor any kind of pathology. Nevertheless, everyone should be able to receive the care they need in the context of their transition.
This implies offering a coordinated healthcare network built around the Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), private-practice medicine, and associations of trans people.
The platform seeks to continuously improve the quality of care, particularly in terms of ethics and compliance with international scientific recommendations and knowledge.

Trans Youth Trajectories is supported by the Regional Health Agency of Île-de-France, the Interministerial Delegation for the Fight against Racism, Anti-Semitism, and Anti-LGBT Hatred (DILCRAH), the Fondation de France, and the City of Paris.
