Acceptess-T

Acceptess-T is an association founded by and for trans people in 2010. Its activities are organized around sexual health and overall health prevention, social work, and fighting discrimination. Located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, it welcomes individuals every Monday without an appointment from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment from Tuesday to Thursday.

The association offers sexual health support for trans people, with an infectious disease specialist and several health mediators (prevention and rapid HIV/STI testing, PrEP/TasP consultations), individual support in health pathways, and orientation in transition pathways, and weekly psychological listening and orientation consultations.

Individual social support is offered by social workers for access to social rights, professional integration, access to housing, and residency rights. The Fonds d’Action Sociale Trans (FAST) provides emergency material assistance on a case-by-case basis for trans people in severe precarity who do not find support in mainstream services.

A legal expert offers assistance for cases of violence or discrimination, as well as help with preparing legal name/sex marker change applications.

Festive and sporting events are regularly organized to combat isolation among trans people. Weekly swimming sessions for trans people and their closed ones are also organized in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

Espace Santé Trans

Espace Santé Trans is an association founded in 2015 in Paris in response to difficulties in accessing quality care for trans people.

Its activities are built around two axes: peer support and networking of healthcare professionals trained in trans issues, to whom the association can then refer users depending on their situation.

Peer support activities include the discussion groups “Trajectoires Trans.”

The association offers a reception and psychological orientation session on Fridays by appointment, aimed at helping people find psychological follow-up adapted to their needs and means among health professionals in the network.

Participation in this network includes training, practice exchange groups, and a monitoring newsletter. In addition, Espace Santé Trans organizes mental health supervision groups for general practitioners to help them better support their trans patients in all aspects of physical and psychological life.

Training sessions (in mental or somatic health) are organized in collaboration with other associations depending on requests received.
