As we reported on Trans Youth Trajectories last March, the 26 German-speaking organisations that are members of the AWMF (Association of Scientific Medical Societies) reached a consensus on gender-affirming care for minors. This scientific consensus statement, summarised in French on our website here, was critical both of Hilary Cass’s report (United Kingdom) and of the statement issued by the National Academy of Medicine (France), and broadly aligned with the global recommendations of WPATH and the Endocrine Society.
This consensus document is now publicly and officially available in English (409 pages), at the following address.
